Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals Regulation (REACH)
AmCham EU has a unique perspective on EU chemical legislation. Our members are, and have been since the beginning, active stakeholders in the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals Regulation (REACH). We represent the entire REACH value chain from upstream chemical producers to downstream users, as well as the consultancies and law firms which advise us on REACH.
Our combined Membership has first-hand experiences with all of REACH’s procedures. We aim to be a constructive partner, and share these experiences and industry insights with policy-makers, both at the European and national level, in order to improve REACH and make sure it effectively meets its objectives of protecting human health and the environment and improving EU competitiveness and innovation.
Our work on REACH:
