Celebrating start-ups with EUROPEN

On Wednesday, 5 June, Thibaut L’Ortye, Senior Director of Public Affairs, AmCham EU, joined the jury of EUROPEN’s Single Market Start-up Award, organised in collaboration with Junior Achievement Europe. The award was presented during EUROPEN’s Annual Reception, which brought together policymakers, industry and youth. The winner, BioNova from Georgia, is a clean tech start-up focused on sustainable solutions. Second place went to ReachMate, a healthcare start-up from the Netherlands.
Also joining the jury was Marta Miglietti, Legal Officer, Directorate-general for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs, European Commission and Andrei Nahkala, Global Head of Public Affairs, Huhtamaki.
