On Tuesday, 12 January Artur Runge-Metzger, Director of International and Climate Strategy, DG Climate Action, European Commission, visited AmCham EU to present his views on the COP21 agreement reached in Paris in December.

Artur Runge-Metzger discusses COP21 with AmCham EU

Mr Runge-Metzger described the agreement as historic and said it was the successor to the Kyoto Protocol.

He also laid out the next steps for implementation of the agreement, and answered questions from AmCham EU members on the climate priorities of the Commission in 2016 and beyond.
