Upcoming challenges facing the EU-US relationship

What are the upcoming challenges facing the EU-US relationship? That was the question asked to a panel moderated by Susan Danger, CEO, AmCham EU at the 32nd Greek Economic Summit organised by the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce. Riding the digital and green waves

Susan Danger, CEO, AmCham EU participated in the Annual Economic Forum organised by the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists, which featured Thierry Breton, Commissioner for Internal Market, European Commission and Ingrida Šimontytė, Prime Minister of Lithuania. The Forum focused on the ability of businesses to maintain competitiveness throughout the green and digital transformations and Ms Danger discussed the various approaches used by transatlantic partners to adapt to the changes.

SMEs: challenges and opportunities of international data transfers

In a keynote speech delivered at an event organised by AmCham Slovakia, Giacomo Moroni, Policy Adviser, AmCham EU outlined the state of play in the negotiations for a new EU-US Data Transfer Agreement. He also argued that the rapid conclusion of a solid and sustainable successor to the Privacy Shield is an absolutely critical priority for businesses of all sizes. 

A circular approach for the decarbonisation of the EU transport sector

The EU transport sector has the lowest penetration of renewables in its energy mix. To step up the efforts to reduce emissions, Cargill is investing in a new waste- and residues-based biodiesel plant in Belgium. Learn about what will be a first in Europe, capable of processing all types of liquid waste oils and fats to produce high blend fuel solutions for trucks.

WTO MC12: building back multilateralism after COVID-19
