The Transatlantic Relationship in a Changing World

Taking place on Thursday, 17 March 2016 from 9.00 – 15.30 at The Hotel, Boulevard de Waterloo 38, in Brussels. The conference will feature keynote addresses from:
  • Jean-Luc Demarty,  Director-General for Trade, European Commission; 
  • Michael Punke, Deputy United States Trade Representative and US Ambassador to the World Trade Organization; 
  • Xavier Bettel, Prime Minister of Luxembourg;
  • David O’Sullivan, EU Ambassador to the US; and
  • Anthony L. Gardner, US Ambassador to the EU
The programme will also include Joseph P. Quinlan, Senior Fellow, Center for Transatlantic Relations, Johns Hopkins University who will present the findings of The Transatlantic Economy 2016 Report.
 
At the conference you will hear the latest facts and figures on trade, jobs and investment between the two regions. We will also have panel sessions that will focus on three specific sectors: Financial Services, Security and Defence and Digital Economy. 
Please note that the seated lunch at the Transatlantic Conference is now full, but a light lunch will be provided.
