Denmark assumes the Presidency of the Council of the European Union as the region grapples with its longstanding competitiveness challenges and transatlantic trade tensions. The EU has work to do to tackle the uncertainty and complexity businesses in the region currently face. By placing competitiveness and security at the heart of its Presidency programme, Denmark is well positioned to strengthen this business environment. In this context, AmCham EU’s Recommendations to the Danish Presidency of the Council of the European Union outlines a wide range of proposals to boost the region’s competitiveness, resilience and global standing. 

Roberta Brumana joins Executive Committee of Women in Public Affairs

Roberta Brumana, Senior External Relations Manager, AmCham EU, has been appointed to the Executive Committee of Women in Public Affairs (WiPA), a newly launched initiative in Brussels that promotes gender equality and professional development in the public affairs sector. Roberta spoke at the official launch event on Thursday, 26 June, alongside Camilla Brückner, Director, Brussels Office, United Nations and fellow committee members. AmCham EU is proud to support initiatives that reflect our commitment to inclusive leadership in public affairs. 

Deepening cooperation with BusinessEurope

The meeting offered an opportunity to exchange best practices and explore shared priorities across common policy areas.
