Taking part in the Best Practices Conference in Kotor, Montenegro

In early October, representatives from American Chambers of Commerce across Europe and Eurasia came together in Kotor, Montenegro for the 2025 AmChams in Europe (ACE) Best Practices Conference. The annual event is a forum to strengthen the collective voice of the AmCham in Europe network, exchange views on the evolving business environment and foster closer collaboration across borders. The conference offers an opportunity to compare approaches and contribute to the impact of the network.

Shaping a digital future at the European Parliament

From Tuesday, 7 to Wednesday, 8 October, AmCham EU visited the European Parliament in Strasbourg, France to engage with MEPs on the direction of EU digital policy. In meetings with policymakers, delegates shared priorities for the upcoming Digital Omnibus package and called for clearer and more coherent regulation. Discussions addressed the overlapping rules that limit innovation and increase compliance burdens. Members also discussed the topic of digital sovereignty, emphasising the benefits of open markets and strong transatlantic ties. Finally, delegates highlighted the potential for deeper EU-US cooperation on cloud, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.
