NEW - Portuguese Presidency series: economic recovery
AmCham EU's Portuguese Presidency event series, co-hosted with AmCham Portugal, continued last week with a panel discussion on the status of the economic recovery. Opening remarks were delivered by Pedro Siza Vieira, Minister of Economy, Portugal who shared his comprehensive economic agenda that will seize the stimulus opportunities presented by Europe’s landmark Recovery and Resilience Facility.
The panel floor was then opened to Bernardo Correia, Country Manager, Google Portugal and Réka Horváth, Deputy Head of Unit, Recovery and Resilience Task Force, European Commission for a discussion moderated by Cristina Falcone (UPS), Chair, Policy Group, AmCham EU on the recovery and resilience plans and how governments can best direct their proposed investments and reforms to enable the green and digital transitions.
