Accelerating the decarbonisation of industry

Following trilogue discussions on the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and EU Emissions Trading System (EU ETS), there are now provisional agreements that will transform the legislative landscape for environmental measures within the EU. Policy-makers and businesses must now look ahead to the transition period for CBAM, beginning in October 2023.
