On Thursday, 12 June AmCham EU held its annual Gala evening which brought together over 300 guests. Roberta Metsola, President, European Parliament, gave a keynote address on the future of Europe and the strength of the transatlantic relationshipMalte Lohan, CEO, AmCham EU, Liam Benham (Boeing), Chair, AmCham EU and Thatcher Scharpf, Chargé d’Affaires, US Mission to the EU, also took to the stage. The evening featured a piano performance from Nikola Meeuwsen, First Prize, Queen Elisabeth Competition 2025 and the presentation of the AmCham EU Youth Entrepreneurship Award. Couldn’t make it? Taking place at the Africa Palace in Tervuren, the festivities began with remarks from Malte Lohan, CEO, AmCham EU and Liam Benham (Boeing), Chair, AmCham EU. Following this, Roberta Metsola, President, European Parliament gave a keynote to officially kick off the evening. Emphasising the Europe is open for business, she set the scene for the evening. 

The audience then enjoyed a piano performance from Nikola Meeuwsen, First Prize Piano 2025, Queen Elisabeth Competition. Capping off the evening was this year’s AmCham EU Youth Entrepreneurship Award, in collaboration with JA Europe. Julie Teigland, Global Vice Chair, Alliances and Ecosystems and EMEIA Area Managing Partner, EY joined us to present the winner of this year’s AmCham EU Youth Entrepreneurship Award to BioBliss.
