NEW - AmCham EU hosts plenary meeting on sustainable finance

On Tuesday, 20 April AmCham EU hosted a plenary meeting on sustainable finance. Ahead of several expected legislative files, including a review of the Non-Financial Reporting Directive (NFRD) and a delegated act of the taxonomy, the plenary meeting dedicated its theme to the Renewed EU Sustainable Finance Agenda in a new transatlantic context. After the keynote speech by John Berrigan, Director-General, DG FISMA, European Commission, the topic was discussed with Will Beach, Financial Attaché, US Treasury Representative in Europe, US Mission to the EU; Stéphane Cieniewski, Senior Advisor on Environment and Climate, French Treasury; Nadja Picard, Global Reporting Leader, PWC; and Sirpa Pietikäinen, MEP (EPP, FI). The discussion was moderated by David Henry Doyle (S&P Global), Chair, Sustainable Finance Task Force, AmCham EU. During the plenary, three new members were voted on: Baker McKenzie; Boston Consulting Group; and, Lubrizol. Read more here.
