Green solutions drive the economy, but more can be achieved
AmCham EU held its event, ‘The Circular Economy: Innovative business solutions and how to go further’, on Wednesday 28 September 2016.
The event kicked off with Susan Danger, CEO, AmCham EU providing a welcome and presentation of AmCham EU’s latest brochure entitled, The Circular Economy: 10 Innovative business solutions and how to go further.
A panel discussion followed and included Arjan Boogaards, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Nalco Water Europe & Middle East and Africa; Hendrik Bourgeois, Vice President European Affairs and General Counsel Europe, General Electric; Jason Ord, Social and Environmental Responsibility Director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, HP; and Ulrike Sapiro, Director of Sustainability, The Coca-Cola Company. The panel was moderated by Leah Charpentier, Chair, AmCham EU Environment Committee.
This was followed with a keynote speech by Jyrki Katainen, Vice-President for Jobs, Growth, Investment and Competitiveness, European Commission. The evening concluded with a reception.
