GITF - The diversity gap in the cybersecurity sector (by invitation only)

While the cybersecurity field has grown significantly in recent years, there remains a global shortage of skilled professionals. Today, cybersecurity remains overwhelmingly male-dominated, with women making up only 14% of the US information security workforce. By 2021, the number of unfilled cybersecurity jobs worldwide is expected to reach 3.5 million. Moving forward, how can we create a more diverse cybersecurity workforce, both in the US and Europe?

At the upcoming breakfast discussion, AmCham EU’s Gender Initiatives Task Force will explore this question and other potential strategies to bring more diversity into this sector.
