AmCham EU CEO discusses future of work with MEP Stelios Kympouropoulos

On Tuesday, 26 January, Susan Danger, CEO, AmCham EU participated in a European Parliament webinar titled 'Future of work: Pandemic lessons-learnt and the way forward towards a more resilient and skilled workforce,' hosted by MEP Stelios Kympouropoulos (EL, EPP). The event also featured Nicolas Schmit, European Commissioner for Jobs and Social Rights; Per Hilmersson, Deputy General Secretary, European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC); and Ilias Kapoutsis, Assistant Professor of Management, Athens University of Economics and Business.

During the discussion, speakers addressed a number of important topics such as the impact of remote working on productivity and employees’ well-being and mental health, as well as possible discrimination. It also shed light upon the need to support upskilling and reskilling programmes to ensure that we continue to build the work force of tomorrow.
