Today: promoting female leadership to #BreakTheBias

Despite an increased focus on more inclusive workplaces, women still remain underrepresented in leadership roles due to bias, race and gender-related barriers. Policies aimed at closing the gender gap and ensuring economic empowerment for women are crucial to fulfilling the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda. Today, 8 March, we are organising a breakfast event, kindly sponsored by Google, during which industry leaders and EU decision-makers will exchange best practices. We will discuss how the public and private sectors can jointly foster diverse leadership and outline solutions for ensuring an inclusive talent pipeline for industries that lack women participation the most.
