Join the International Women’s Day campaign
International Women’s Day (IWD) is about celebrating women's achievements, raising awareness against bias and taking action for equality. The theme for this year’s IWD is ‘Break the bias’. To contribute to a world free of bias, stereotypes and discrimination, AmCham EU invites you to take part in this year’s social media campaign by submitting a quote along with a photo with your arms crossed solidarity.
How to participate?
1. Answer one of the questions below with a quote (in no more than 45 words)
When it comes to breaking the bias:
- Where can businesses have the most impact in breaking the bias?
- What change do you wish to see?
- What makes you hopeful?
- What types of actions are you taking or plan to take to break the bias?
- What does breaking the bias mean to you?
2. Take a picture striking the #BreakThePose (with your arms crossed)
As the pictures will be cropped to fit the template below, please ensure the person taking the photo is at least 2 meters (6 feet) away from you.
3. Send the content to AmCham EU
The last step is to share the quote and the photo by sending them to Emilie Bartolini (EBA@amchameu.eu) before 25 February, COB. Make sure you send us your input before 25 February, COB. Our team will edit and share the content on AmCham EU’s website and social media.
