Inconsistencies in EU law, initiatives that are not supported by impact assessments or sufficient analysis or have not been properly market-tested, incorrect implementation or EU law: all diminish legal certainty and therefore impede growth in the European market. The Legal Affairs Task Force serves as a discussion forum for issues of a legal background that present threats or opportunities for member companies. It aims to (i) exchange information on best practices; (ii) provide input from a legal counsel perspective on issues already dealt with in specific committees at AmCham EU; and (iii) fill the gaps.
